In graphical mode root key does not work

Greetings group.
My problem is this: After the last 2 or 3 updates of Rosa Desktop Fresh R8 KDE 4 64 bit, giving the "root" key to access "Pink Image Writer", to "Configure a firewall" etc, It does not work, nothing comes out. Instead, in "Console if it works" mode.
Is there any way to fix it? Or will I have to install it again.
