NO FIREFOX??

I just booted up the live cd and did a browse in the install programs ... and I do not see Firefox.

One thing that bothers me is that... Linux is suppose to be so secure and private, yet some
programmers install crappy google software which is so FAR from private and secure, it isn't
funny! Google is a HUGE spy happy company!!

If it were me, I would add the IRON Browser to the repository. It is chromium stripped of all
the spy crap!

But I also would like to use Firefox.

I am not a techie guru and also usually work with debian based distro's. I don't know how to install on an RPM based distro. When I click on the package, it asks me if I want to install and I select install. But when I do, I get a prompt that says all packages are not included, do I want to install anyway. I tried installing anyway and nothing happens.



I have to say, that I really like the LOOK of this distro, but I believe it has a long way to go if it is to meet the needs of all users.

What about Firefox?

You definitely missing something. On every ROSA edition there IS Firefox on live-mode (KDE,GNOME and LXDE). Also it's default browser after installation. Could you please provide more details about what iso you're using..?

To install the firefox run

urpmi firefox
