Hi, I plan to download and use ROSA. However what about non free repositories? In Mandriva it used to be PLF repos. Also there was a option of purchasing the non free software from Mandriva where all plugins and goodies become available. Is this available in ROSA ?
In case i have a problem, ROSA is still new to find a solution in google like ubuntu. Can i search for similar probs in Mandriva and mageia and use them as a sourse of reference to sort out a ROSA issue?

In ROSA we have Restricted repository:vadi01 писал(а):Hi, I plan to download and use ROSA. However what about non free repositories? In Mandriva it used to be PLF repos. It's a successor of PLF. But it has official support. There are less packages in Restricted than in old PLF because many PLF packages were moved to Contrib and Non-Free. And some no longer useful packages were just dropped (like napster client etc).
As for purchasing the non free software, I guess we don't have this option yet.
