Hello Everyone.

Last week, skype had an update. It worked awfull... Not because Rosa, the program itself is awfull...

Anyway, few days ago it had another update and i hope to be able to use my webcam with the latest update. Unfortunately, latest update for skype is not in the software manager yet... I downloaded from the website to install with urpmi, but it didn't install...

How can i update skype to lates version (8.11) and how can i fix webcam problem on it? (black screen, webcam works proper on any other program)

Hi! 8.11 already passed QA and will be published to repositories today. You can also install it directly from container if you don't want to wait: http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/rosa2 ... e/release/

Good news... I really hope it works good with webcam... If no, there will be another problem...
(I wanna try with new version, can't install now, lets see at the evening...)

With final update (8.11) camera doesn't work... Only black screen. My camera is workin perfectly on any other software. How can i fix this problem?

Not a solution for the official client, but you can try Ghetto Skype package to check if video calls work there for you: http://abf-downloads.rosalinux.ru/rosa2 ... n/release/

Ghetto Skype works proper. Camera working good, it's working a bit slowly...However, better than nothing.
