Description of problem:
Desktop effects, noticeably "minimize animation", "magic lamp", "glide" (not limited to these) are jerkier and slower than they should be. This was compared to Chakra Linux with same Desktop effects settings on the open source driver radeon with VSync and OpenGL 2 shaders disabled. Hardware is AMD 965 BE 3.4Ghz x4, 4GB RAM (512 shared Vram), AMD 880G integrated chipset.

Always.
This is some rather weird kind of bug. When I have 'Show FPS effect' enabled, every transition (magic lamp, in this case) is fast and good and not jerky with stable 58-60fps. As soon as I disable Show FPS, the magic lamp/minimize animation effect is jerky again. There is definitely something wrong.
Anyone experiencing anything like this?
More weirdness: When Show FPS is disabled, the ROSA SimpleWelcome has smooth transition but with Show FPS enabled, SimpleWelcome is very jerky and shoots down to 50-53fps. Can anyone explain this utter nonsense?
